01Who this policy is from
Clinic Stocks Manager is published by nrhealthtech. It is an offline stock and billing tool for a clinic. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with information, and it applies to the Android app distributed through Google Play under the package name com.clinicstocks.app.
02The short version
The app runs entirely on your device. It does not ask you to sign in, it does not know who you are, and it does not send your stock list or your bills anywhere. There is no backend and no database belonging to us — nrhealthtech receives nothing from the app, including usage statistics and crash reports.
You are the only holder of the data. That also means you are responsible for it, and for backing it up.
03What the app stores on your device
The app saves everything in your device's local browser storage, under two keys. This data stays on the device and is not readable by nrhealthtech or by other apps.
| Key | What it holds |
|---|---|
| clinicStock.v1 | Your stock items, your categories, your saved bills, and your clinic details — clinic name, doctor name and qualification, address, GSTIN, phone number, currency and the next invoice number |
| clinicStock.theme | Whether you chose the light or dark theme |
04Your clinic's details
The first time you open the app it asks for your clinic name, doctor name and qualification, address, GSTIN and phone number. These are the header that prints on your invoices. They are saved on your device, and they appear on any invoice PDF you generate and choose to send.
They are not sent to us and there is nowhere for them to go. You can change or clear them at any time under Data & settings.
05Patient names on bills
This is the one place the app can hold information about another person, so it is worth stating plainly. When you create a bill you may type a patient name and a date, and these are saved with the bill in clinicStock.v1 on your device.
nrhealthtech never receives this. It is not uploaded, not synced and not visible to us — but it does sit on the phone, and it is included in any backup file you export. If you handle patient information, that data remains your responsibility under whatever rules apply to your practice.
If you would rather not store names at all, the patient name field can be left blank or filled with an initial or a reference number. The app does not require it, and bills work the same way without it.
06What the app does not collect
To be explicit, the app does not collect, request or transmit any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers or any account credentials for you
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses or installation IDs
- Location data of any kind
- Contacts, photos, camera or microphone data
- Usage analytics, event logs, session recordings or crash reports
The app contains no advertising, and nothing in it is sold, shared or disclosed to anyone, because nothing reaches us in the first place.
07Network access and permissions
The Android build declares one permission, android.permission.INTERNET, which is required by the app framework it is built on. The app makes no outbound requests of its own: the interface, the icons and all of your data are loaded from the device.
The app requests no other permission. It cannot read your location, contacts, camera or microphone.
08Android automatic backup
Android's automatic backup is switched on for this app (allowBackup="true"). That means Android may copy the app's stored data — including your stock list and your saved bills — into your own Google Drive backup, and restore it when you set up a new phone.
That backup belongs to your Google account, not to us; we cannot see it. It is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. You can turn it off for all apps in Settings › Google › Backup, and you should consider doing so if your bills contain patient names and you would prefer they never leave the handset.
09Backups you make yourself
The app can export your whole stock list as a single .json file, either through your phone's share sheet — Bluetooth, Quick Share, Drive, a messaging app, email — or as a plain download, and can take one back in on another phone.
Invoices work the same way. The app builds the PDF on your device and hands it to the phone's share sheet, so it goes to WhatsApp, email or your Downloads folder only because you chose that — nothing is uploaded on its own. An invoice PDF carries your clinic details and, if you entered one, the patient's name.
This is entirely under your control. The file is created on your device and goes only where you send it. nrhealthtech does not receive exported files and has no way to reach them. Once you hand a file to another app or service, that app's or service's own privacy policy applies to it — so take the same care with a backup containing patient names that you would with any other clinical record.
10Losing your data
Because there is no cloud copy, the data lives and dies with the device. Browser storage can be cleared by the browser itself, by Android's storage cleanup, or by you. If that happens, or if the phone is lost, the stock list and bills are gone and we cannot restore them.
Export a backup regularly and keep it somewhere you control.
11Deleting your data
You are in complete control of it:
- Clear the stock list — Data & settings › Clear all items.
- Clear everything — Android Settings › Apps › Clinic Stocks › Storage › Clear storage.
- Remove it entirely — uninstalling deletes all of the app's stored data from the device. If Android backup is on, also delete the app's backup from Google One › Device backups.
There is no data held elsewhere, so there is nothing to request, correct or erase from us. Where you have rights of access, correction, portability or erasure, those rights are satisfied by the controls above, since nrhealthtech holds no personal data about you.
12Children
This is a business tool for running a clinic's stock. It is not directed at children and is not designed or marketed for use by them. No data is knowingly collected from anyone, of any age.
13Distribution
The Android app is distributed through Google Play. Google collects its own information when you download or update an app — for example your Google account and device details — under Google's own privacy policy, which nrhealthtech does not control and is not a party to. Please refer to Google's policy for how Google handles that information.
Google Play is the only place we publish this app. If you find it offered anywhere else, it did not come from us and we cannot vouch for what is in it.
14Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Because the app sends nothing anywhere, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change in practice.
